Different ways to get fitness for free

If you want or want to stay fit, there are many good ways to exercise, live a healthy lifestyle and get a decent body without a gym. Getting in shape for free is easier than you think, and there are really many ways to get active, which (dare I say it) can be quite fun – not to mention that it’s effective in mental health care.

YouTube Home Training Guides

There are thousands of free tutorial videos on YouTube. So no matter what difficulty and style of home exercise you are looking for, you will always have a video tutorial. If you’re happy to spend a few pounds, the exercise straps have come a long way since the 80s VHS jersey and headbands. All salt-worthy celebrities have a training DVD or two on their sleeves – even Cher and Lorraine Kelly.

You can buy cheap training DVDs for $ 0.99 at most pound stores, or if you’re looking for a specific workout, you’ll find a pair for less than five on Amazon. You also don’t have to get bored of the routine – switch with friends who also want to get fit at home, or just go to your local library where you can rent another DVD each week.

Join the university sports team

You don’t have to be a professional athlete to join university sports teams. Joining a sports club is a great way to stay active without going to the gym, especially if your schedule is just a little too crowded.

Every university has a bunch of sports teams, from the ordinary (football) to the weird and the amazing (the Quiddit), and the best part is that these club sports activities are usually free or cheap. Because you already pay a reasonable amount of unit fees and overhead, community membership is generally considered as affordable as possible so you can participate in your favorite sports community without straining your student budget.

Download free exercise apps

There are so many good training programs that can help you track your progress and work towards different goals. Apps like Sworkit and a 7-minute workout are great for a quick home workout, and all you need is floor space and a couple of nice joggers to get fit with some great (and exhausting) workouts.

Strava is a very popular training program – it’s basically a social media platform that focuses on training so you can share races, bikes and rides with friends. You can also see what others have done and thank them for their efforts. Plus, Instagram is full of in-house training posters with a divine status that can hold on and make the hard task of transformation for the summer truly enjoyable: check out Michelle Lewin, Kayla Itsines, and Joe Wickes, if you haven’t already. .

Browse the Google Play / App Store to easily find free exercise and training programs with diet plans, recipe tips, exercise and tracking devices to track your running and biking trails. Speaking of Christmas, it’s worth mentioning that there are many amazing free training apps in January that show up in the most popular games (when everyone desperately wants to get rid of Christmas pounds), so stay tuned.
